I hold a PhD in Linguistics (Universidad de Alicante, Spain), an MSc in Machine Translation (UMIST- Manchester, UK)) and an MBA (IEDE-Universidad Europea, Madrid, Spain). My professional background combines excellent teaching skills in a Higher Education context, together with extensive experience leading and managing teams in different successful scenarios, including R&D.
As a senior lecturer I train future translators on the fundamentals of Translation Technologies with a view to inspiring in them a passion for excellence. My research and publications concentrate on areas related to technology and translation, where I have lead several projects with a strong emphasis on MT and Post-editing.
